Buriton is no more than a mile from the South Downs Way but is prepared for a steep climb to get back on the path!

The village of Buriton enjoys an idyllic setting at the foot of the downs, complete with a duck pond. Next to the pond is the Church of Saint Mary, a beautiful building dating back to the 12th Century. Buriton is situated around 24 miles along the South Downs Way from Winchester, almost a quarter of the way to Eastbourne.

By Train & Bus

There is a bus service (number 95) connecting Buriton to Petersfield. The closest railway station is in Petersfield, just over 2 miles away, with direct trains to London Waterloo (1 hour) and Portsmouth (30 mins).

By Car

Buriton is just off the A3, providing easy links to South Coast, London and the M25. It is also close to the A272, which travels from east to west right across East Sussex, West Sussex & Hampshire.
