Here are a few things to consider when booking for a group:

When should we book?

It’s advisable to book as far in advance as you can to give us the best chance of securing suitable accommodation, at least 8-9 months in advance if you can. If you’re looking to book within that time frame please do get in touch, we may still be able to help.

What’s the maximum group size?

This really depends on accommodation availability, the largest group we have organised in the past is 14.

Will we all be able to stay together?

Again, this depends on accommodation availability and the size of the group. For larger groups especially it will be necessary to split the party across more than one accommodation providers, especially in the smaller villages. We’ll always endeavour to book you all in the same place where possible though and will always makes sure that it’s possible for you to all meet up for your evening meal.

Will we be able to walk to our accommodation from the trail?

Wherever possible we will book you accommodation within a short walk from the trail. For larger groups though it’s often necessary to arrange accommodation a bit further from the trail but we will organise any necessary transfers and will include those in the price.

How can we be sure that everyone in the group will be happy with the arrangements?

Once everything is booked and confirmed we will email the booking confirmation through so that everyone can see the accommodation, itinerary and all arrangement before you need to pay your deposit.

When do we need to pay?

The deposit (around 20% of the total amount) will be due within a few days of receiving the booking confirmation and the balance will be payable around 6 weeks before you go.

We both really enjoyed the walk. Lovely scenery and very little road walking. All the accommodation was very good an all the bookings and luggage transfers went very smoothly. All in all it was a fabulous holiday. It’s the first National Trail we’ve done in one go and we really enjoyed it. We’ll certainly do more in the future. Just got to decide which one is next.
