We are finally home and have had a chance to catch our breath and get settled again.But wanted to say – THANK YOU! We loved walking the South Downs Way. All the accommodations were good – but a special mention should go to Riverdale House in Alfriston, which ranks as one of the best places that we have stayed anywhere.We appreciated your flexibility in alternate arrangements for our first night, and your pub recommendations were fantastic.We haveonly oneregret –that we didn’t do the whole route from Winchester to Eastbourne. That may have to happen at some point in the future.Thanks again.
